About Noah

Dr. Noah Hass-Cohen is a psychologist & professor at the Couples Family Therapy at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. She has over three decades of providing neuroscience-based and positive psychology mental health services. Noah is a frequent international and national presenter and the author of multiple publications including two books: Art Therapy & Clinical Neuroscience; and Art Therapy & the Neuroscience of Relationships, Creativity & Resiliency. She is also the first author of multiple peer reviewed publications and chapters. In 2019 she received the prestigious Rawley Silver Research Award for her empirical pain and trauma research.  She incorporates neurofeedback, HRV and biofeedback. mindfulness and art therapy in her clinical work. Her expertise is in the treatment of  trauma, chronic pain, complex grief, sicuide prevention and weight management.
